After four days and 2,100 miles with some nasty traffic delays along the way, Mike and Gaylin Reese arrived at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. It was time to stretch their legs, hop on their tandem and go for a ride. Marta and I took them on one of our favorite routes along the shore of Lake Michigan to where else – Long Beach, Indiana. Next stop, Montreal, where we meet up with Claudia and Basil Fett to start our 500-mile QC16 Bike Fund Tour.
